It starts in Northern Uganda

I am here in my final night on Ugandan soil. Tomorrow will be the official end to my current contract, coordinating a gender-based violence project in Northern Uganda, following nearly a year of doing research and advocacy in the region before that. My time in Africa has been concentrated in the Great Lakes Region of Africa (living in Rwanda and Uganda, traveling to Kenya and Tanzania) and I am just now starting to get my head around my next location: Eastern Chad. I think life is about to get interesting. As if it wasn't already...
